聖心女子大学文学部卒業後、住友信託銀行勤務。明治学院大学大学院文学研究科英文学専攻博士前期課程修了。神田外語学院、東京都市大学、駒澤大学、横浜商科大学にて必修英語、選択英語担当を経て現職。

学生へのメッセージ

英語を学びたいという気持ちがあれば、誰もが、いつでも、どこにいても学ぶことができる時代が来ています。外国語を学ぶということは時として困難なこともありますが、それと同時に世界とつながるワクワク感に満ちています。私たちは独自の英語教材を用いて実践的な英語の修得をめざしています。皆さんに寄り添いつつ、学修をサポートしていきます。

研究テーマ

「英語教育」という大きなテーマにおいて、2つのアプローチから研究を進めています。英語教育における異文化理解の役割と実践的な方法論を明らかにすることと、それに加えてe-learningによる英語教育と効果的な学習支援方法の模索をすることです。これらの研究を通じて、英語教育理論の改善と指導法の高度化を目指しています。
