お茶の水女子大学大学院人間文化研究科博士後期課程修了。日本学術振興会特別研究員、お茶の水女子大学理学部非常勤講師、同大学院人間文化創成科学研究科研究院研究員を経て現在に至る。組織再生、臓器線維症にかかわる生体分子をターゲットとした、生化学的・基礎医学的研究に携わる。
学生へのメッセージ
医療分野の「インフォームドコンセント」に代表されるように、現代社会においては、専門知識を専門家でない人々にもわかりやすく伝えることが求められます。そのためには、「こう表現すれば伝わりやすいだろう」「こう書いたら理解しにくいのではないか」と、読み手を意識しながら文章を書くことが不可欠です。
文章表現とは、コミュニケーションの一つの形です。専門とする分野の違い、あるいは世代や住む地域、文化の違いなどを越えて、人と人が円滑なコミュニケーションを図るために必要なことは何でしょうか。リテラシー（読み書き能力）の観点から一緒に学んでいきましょう。
